France is a very varied country. It stretches from the English
Channel to the Mediterranean and the climate in the South
is very different from that in the North.

is roughly hexagonal – it has six sides. It is
bordered by The English Channel (La Manche), the Atlantic
Ocean (l'océan Atlantique), Spain (L'Espagne),
the Mediterranean Sea, Italy (L'Italie), Switzerland
(La Suisse), Germany (L'Allemagne), Luxemburg (Le Luxembourg),
and Belgium (La Belgique).
